Hi!

You’re probably wondering who/what/where is a “Seds”…well, Seds is me! A nickname from middle school that just reaaaallly stuck.  Sorry, I wish there was more to the story, but enough about that..

Welcome to my kitchen! I am so glad you’re here.  Baking, cooking and experimenting with recipes in the kitchen is something I have been doing my whole life.  I grew up making fresh baked cookies several times a week with my Dad- no really! Well, sometimes they became fresh baked cookies… (because: dough) I even made my first pie crust from scratch with my Grandmother when I was eight!

Being a Military Spouse, I moved A LOT in the past 10 years.. from Massachusetts (where I was born and raised) to Washington to Georgia to Virginia to Washington again back to Massachusetts……and being in the kitchen is something that has kept me sane and provided comfort and stability through all the uncertainty. As have my two furbabies Tuukka and Teddy 🙂 I work from home full time for a global tech company and LOVE my job.. but needed a creative outlet outside the normal 9-5.. (OR 6-2 in my world, east coast hours on the west coast.. gotta love it).

Enter: Slice of Seds..I hope to share with you my recipes that are delicious AND easy with step by step pictures to help even the most novice home baker/cook.
